1. Safety instructions

Do not use the X-Rite vipFLEX

system in environments where explosion hazard exists.

Do not expose the vipFLEX

system to strong electromagnetic radiation.

Do not use the vipFLEX

system in environments with temperatures higher than 40°C or lower than 10°C.

Do not store the vipFLEX

system in environments with temperatures higher than 70°C or lower than -20°C.

The vipFLEX

system must be protected from chemical agents, corrosive vapors, strong vibration and mechanical impact.

To avoid damage, the vipFLEX

system must always be shipped in the original packaging.

Use X-Rite accessories and spare parts only.

Do not lift the vipFLEX

system using the measuring arm.

Ensure that no objects are placed on top of the vipFLEX

Unauthorized dismantling of the vipFLEX

will void all warranty claims.

The plastic housing of the instrument may be cleaned with a damp cloth with some soap.

The vipFLEX

will not work if it is connected to the USB port on your keyboard or to a USB-Hub without external power supply.

If this product is used in a manner not speciﬁed by the instruction, the safety protection provided by the device may be

impaired or become inoperable.
